70-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

To put your mind at ease about ordering, you have 70 days to decide if our products are right for you. During that period, you may request a full refund of the purchase price, minus your original shipping charges.  (Within the USA, we’ll pay for return shipping via a prepaid shipping label.)  Also, in the rare case that you receive a defective Coda, we will gladly replace it free of charge.  Finally, we really want you to be pleased and successful with your Coda EDC Flute, and our sincere desire is to treat you the way we’d like to be treated.  So… if you need support of any kind, please contact us.  We want to help! 🙂

365-Day Guarantee
Against Accidental Breakage

Since Coda is an everyday carry flute, we want you to feel confident about bringing it with you through life.  Therefore, we also provide a 365-day replacement guarantee against ACCIDENTAL breakage (i.e., not on purpose) if you buy directly from CodaEDC.com.  If within those 365 days, your Coda is accidentally damaged in such a way that it no longer plays correctly, we will replace it free of charge.

Shipping Policies

We do our best to ship orders within 1 business day.  We ship via the United States Postal Service (USPS) to all our clients.  Please note: the USPS determines the price for shipping your package, not us.  When we ship your order, we make a request to the USPS to send you an email containing your delivery confirmation number.

How much does shipping cost?

Well, it depends on your shipping address.  You can see how much shipping will cost by going to our STORE webpage, adding your chosen products to the cart, and then proceeding to CHECKOUT.  Then, just enter your address info, click continue to shipping, and you’ll see your shipping cost before you are asked to pay.  Quick and easy!

Note for customers ordering from outside of the USA

Except in the rare case of a defective product, you will be responsible for all shipping costs involved in returning an instrument either for the 70-day Satisfaction Guarantee or the Guarantee Against Accidental Breakage.  We’re really sorry about this, but shipping rates around the world have become highly variable and expensive.

More Info for International Customers

We are encouraged that people around the globe are purchasing and playing Coda EDC Flutes!

With that said, we sincerely want to avoid any unpleasant surprises on your part.  Unfortunately, shipping to destinations outside the U.S. is expensive (especially if your country charges import taxes and fees!), and you may experience delays.

Costs

In addition to the higher costs of shipping internationally, your government may charge you import taxes for purchasing a foreign product.  Some countries won’t charge anything; others may charge upwards of 20% of the total cost (product price + shipping).  This depends entirely on your country’s policies and trade relationship with the US.  If you want to learn more about this, we suggest looking into your government’s import tariffs for US products.

Delays

Within the USA, USPS is fast and reliable, but once a package arrives in your country, the USPS turns it over to your country’s postal service.  At that point, delivery will depend on the following: “How efficient and reliable are the customs and postal services within your particular country?”

Most packages arrive within a reasonable amount of time, but if your package takes longer to arrive than expected, your first step should be to seek information from your local post office.  Be ready to give them your Tracking ID number.  (Sorry! We sincerely wish we had some control over the postal service in your country, but we don’t.)

If 40 days or so have gone by with no word of your package, please contact us.  One way or another, we want to make sure that you receive what you have paid for.

If your postal service is particularly unreliable, consider a courier service that delivers from a USA address to your country.  Sometimes friends, family, co-workers, or your favorite search engine can give you advice about an affordable, trusted service.
