Designed with EDC in Mind (EveryDay Carry), Coda is only 5 inches long (12.7 cm) but plays two full chromatic octaves.
With most woodwinds, the fingering is fairly linear. To play a scale from bottom to top, you walk up the right-hand toneholes and then the left-hand toneholes.
Coda’s intuitive linear fingering is similar to the recorder, Boehm flute, saxophone, etc., except that that your right hand is NEXT TO your left hand instead of below it (because, again, Coda is only 5 inches long). You’ll notice that you can play the 2nd octave of the C major scale exactly like the 1st.
